These Terms and Conditions explain how to use aztenix.com, request electrical services, and understand our online estimate and booking process. Please read them before submitting a request or making a payment.
1. About Aztenix
This website is operated by Aztenix, Inc. (“Aztenix,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a licensed California electrical contractor serving Greater Los Angeles and Orange County. Our California contractor license number is 1131532. For questions, contact info@aztenix.com or (310) 801-5676.
2. Using Our Website
You may use this website to learn about our services, request estimates, communicate with us, and, when available, make online bookings or payments. You agree to provide accurate information and not interfere with the website, attempt unauthorized access, or submit material that violates another person’s rights. We may update website content and availability from time to time.
3. Instant Quotes Are Based on the Information You Provide
Our Instant Quote tool generates an initial estimate from the project details you enter, including the service requested, property information, equipment choices, and installation conditions. An online estimate is not a guarantee that work can be completed for that amount. Hidden conditions, existing electrical capacity, access, utility requirements, code requirements, permits, and other details may affect the final scope, schedule, and price. If an adjustment is needed, we will explain it and obtain any required written approval before proceeding with additional work.
4. Your Project Agreement Controls
These website terms are not a substitute for a project-specific contract. Where California law requires a written home-improvement contract or service-and-repair agreement, that document will specify the contractor and customer information, scope of work, materials, total price, payment schedule, anticipated dates, permits, applicable notices, and other required terms. Any signed project agreement controls over these general website terms if they conflict. Required changes to the agreed scope or price will be documented in writing.
5. Booking and Scheduling
Submitting an online request or selecting an appointment does not guarantee a particular start time or that a project has been accepted. Appointments are subject to our confirmation, personnel availability, accessibility, required permits, and any necessary utility coordination. If we need to change a scheduled appointment, we will contact you using the details you provide.
6. Payments and Deposits
Any amount due online should be clearly identified before payment. Your project agreement and invoice will specify the applicable deposit, price, approved equipment purchases, balance, and payment milestones. For California residential home-improvement work, statutory down-payment and progress-payment restrictions apply. Unless an authorized statutory exception applies, a down payment cannot exceed the lesser of $1,000 or 10% of the contract price; later payments are restricted by the value of work performed or materials delivered. An online payment option does not override these protections. If an online amount exceeds what may lawfully be collected at that stage, contact us before paying so we can correct it.
For residential installation projects in Instant Quote, the website is configured to collect only a down payment equal to 10% of the estimated project price or $1,000, whichever is less. Selected equipment may be included in the estimated project price, but it is not prepaid in full through Instant Quote. Payments after the down payment are governed by the written payment schedule and applicable California law. The built-in Electrical Service Call path collects no advance payment online; qualifying California Service and Repair work is payable only after the work is completed.
7. Cancellation and Refunds
Your right to cancel depends on the type of agreement, when and where it is made, your age, and other applicable legal requirements. Qualifying California home-improvement transactions generally carry a three-business-day right to cancel, or five business days for buyers aged 65 or older, subject to statutory exceptions. A qualifying contract will include the legally required cancellation notice and instructions. Certain properly documented service-and-repair transactions have different rules. We will honor every applicable statutory cancellation and refund right regardless of how an online deposit or payment is described.
For cancellations outside a statutory cancellation period, the refund or rescheduling terms in your signed project agreement and applicable law govern. Contact us promptly at info@aztenix.com or (310) 801-5676 if you need to cancel or reschedule.
8. Customer Information and Site Access
You are responsible for providing reasonably accurate information about the property, existing electrical equipment, and requested service, and for arranging lawful access to the work area. Please tell us about known hazards, damaged equipment, restricted access, or other conditions that may affect safe performance. Do not attempt electrical repairs or enter an unsafe area while waiting for service. For an immediate electrical emergency, contact emergency services or your utility as appropriate.
9. Permits, Utilities, and Equipment
The need for permits, inspections, utility involvement, and particular equipment depends on the project and local jurisdiction. Your written project agreement will identify responsibilities and included fees. Manufacturer warranties for supplied equipment, if any, are separate from any written labor warranty we provide. Nothing on this website excludes warranties or consumer remedies that cannot lawfully be disclaimed.
10. Website Content and Third-Party Links
Website text, graphics, photographs, logos, and design are owned by Aztenix or used with permission. You may view them for personal, noncommercial purposes, but may not reuse them without authorization. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience; those websites have their own terms and privacy practices.
11. Website Availability and Responsibility
We try to keep the website accurate and available, but occasional interruptions, typographical errors, or technical problems may occur. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused solely by an interruption of this informational website. This section does not limit rights or remedies arising from our actual contracting services, negligence, a signed project agreement, or applicable consumer-protection law.
12. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle information provided through the website, Instant Quote, contact forms, and checkout.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these website terms as our services and online features change. The date shown at the top of this page identifies the latest version. Material changes to an existing signed project agreement require the agreement and notices required by applicable law.
